Final Examination Announcement: June 2–4, 2025
The final examinations for batch 1, intake 1 students and groups FYM1, FYM2, and FYA1
will take place from June 2 to June 4, 2025, at the Auditorium (4th Floor, Building B).
Important Reminder:
- All students must arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.
- Please bring your student ID, Laptop and necessary examination materials.
- Mobile phones, smartwatches, and unauthorized materials are strictly prohibited.
- Ensure all academic and financial requirements are cleared prior to the examination period.
This course will teach you how to use essential office applications like Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, while also showing you how AI tools can help you work more efficiently in real-world business settings. You’ll learn the basics of these applications, such as creating documents, managing data, making presentations, and organizing emails. These skills are widely used in many jobs to handle everyday tasks like writing reports, tracking expenses, preparing presentations for meetings, and communicating with colleagues or clients.
In addition, you will discover how AI can be used to automate routine tasks, such as generating reports in Word, analyzing data in Excel, creating presentations in PowerPoint. With AI tools, you’ll also learn how to speed up data analysis, create more polished presentations in real work scenarios. Hence, Microsoft Office apps are used for a variety of tasks such as Microsoft Word for creating and editing documents, Microsoft Excel for managing finances, tracking projects, or analyzing data, and Microsoft PowerPoint for preparing impactful presentations. By using these applications and AI together, you’ll be able to streamline your daily work, collaborate better with your team, and make smarter decisions based on data-driven insights.
DPS101 is tailored for undergraduate foundation year students across all majors, providing essential skills in critical thinking, research, and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset. It introduces the design thinking process as a versatile, user-centered framework for solving diverse problems. Students will engage in activities that enhance their ability to empathize with users, define problems through research and analysis, generate creative solutions, and test ideas through prototyping. The course encourages collaboration, adaptability, and reflective learning, preparing students to approach challenges in their respective fields with innovation and confidence.
